Hello.
I’m a graduate student studying Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning (OPWL) at Boise State University. I have more than twenty years experience as an award-winning corporate video writer/producer/director, and equivalent expertise as an industry recognized IT solutions professional.
After years of writing and producing corporate training videos, I’ve become aware of its limitations as an effective way to motivate and improve performance. Yet the heart of the medium: storytelling, its affective nature and its subtle and dynamic ways to focus viewers’ attention still captures my imagination.
My objective is to integrate my storytelling chops with the theories, tools, and practices of Human Performance Technology (HPT) to serve and advance organizational talent development.
